The aim of the mission was to identify the priority ecological restoration actions to be carried out, as a continuation of the activities already undertaken by the various partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11786\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11786\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8468 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.medconsortium.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Parc-National-de-Divjaka-Karavasta-Albanie-%C2%A9M.-Douchin_Tour-du-Valat-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11786\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Divjaka-Karavasta national park, Albania \u00a9M. Douchin\/Tour du Valat<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In particular, the team members held discussions with the regional administration of RAPA Fier (Regional agency for protected areas), the municipality of Divjaka, local civil society organisations (AOS, PPNEA, INCA, Birds of Albania) and the main donors operating in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Divjaka-Karavasta National Park in Albania is a Ramsar Site and an important wintering and breeding area for more than 200 species of birds, including the emblematic Dalmatian pelican.
